Stuart's quilt is completed and will be mailed out next week. Here are some of the pictures of the quilt. It is 35" x 50" and I just love the way it turned out. I am sure hoping it has enough oranges and greens in it to keep Stuart happy and I know the fleece backing will be the soft Stuart likes.
I can't wait to drop it in the mail and I hope he enjoys it as much as I enjoyed putting it together for him!
I am a quilter who believes that the world would be just a little better if everyone owned a quilt to snuggle under during cold winter days or those days when you just want to be alone. I make quilts for my family, friends and those in my extended 911 dispatch family that need them. To date, I have made quilts for the Virginia Tech dispatchers, Hurricane Katrina dispatchers, Broome County New York flood victims, quilts for children with life threatening illnesses that attend Victory Junction Gang Camp. My husband and I are raising 3 small grandchildren. I just completed 10 months of duty with the Washington Reading Corps department of Americorps working with elementary age children helping them to improve their reading!
